Wow, the gals over at simon says stamps challenge are very generous! http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com It would be really neat to win a piece of art signed by Tim Holtz, but there are so many talented people out there. I have played around with my alcohol inks and for some reason I tend to get more spots than blending, so when this background came about I was very pleased. I searched around on different blogs and I apologize for not keeping track, so I can't give proper credit where credit is due, but on one gals blog she said she liked to put quite a bit more than 3 or 4 drops of ink on the pad. I kind of went wild with the red pepper and gold, but I love the effect. Here's my creation and good luck to all you other artists!
