I want to start this post with a big shout out to Joyce Lucas. She is the founder of The Pink Slipper Project . She and a whole lot of other talented people are donating slippers to women's and young women's shelters across the country. Please hop over and check out her web site, she provides patterns and lots of interesting information. She even lets non sewers like myself participate in her project. I have 4 pair of slippers finished and plan to get at least 4 more finished this week to get in the mail Monday.
After making the big push to finish my afghan project(15 afghans), that was a huge personal success and the big push on World Card making day I've kind of been MIA from my card room.
This evening was a quick card. I always check The Daily Dare to see what's new in the challenge world. http://sherrodstudio.blogspot.com is hosting a new Tuesday Throwdown Challenge so to start getting my artistic mojo going again I'm entering this card in their challenge.
This card was made with American Traditional Celebrate Scrapbook bundle papers, Fiskars-how many candles clear stamps, Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink, ribbon from Hobby Lobby, and my trusty Value Packs of Card Blanks from Hobby Lobby-this one is 5 1/2" X 4" so I made 2 of these cards and started a new box of cards to mail to Operation Write Home .
Thanks for viewing,
Beverly G

WooHoo! Not only are you back, but the card is to-die-for cute! (I like the slippers, too--they look grandly comfortable). Thanks for sharing the slipper link because I misplaced the paper I wrote it on LOL!
Nice way to think out of the box for that tag instead of a stationary layer! Very creative!
