Shabby Chic Birthday

This is pretty cool, I accomplished my first goal of 2010, to finish 4 cards today before midnight, this is going to be a great year!
When I was putting this card together I thought oh, a vintage card, I don't do many of those, but then after I took it's photo, thought I put my name on it, but it looks that went south some how, I decided it looks more Shabby Chic. I don't do many of those either, and maybe it's out of fashion, I don't hear that term much lately.

2 Challenges:
Supplies: 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" Card Blank Soft Suede, Papers: Stampin Up-Soft Suede, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, My Mind's Eye Designer Paper, Stamp: Inkadinkado-97635 Round Frames, Ink: Stampin Up-Soft Suede, CTMH-Z2106 Blush, Spellbinders Nestabilities-Classic Scallop Rectangles Lg., Fiskars Circle cutting template, Ranger Distress tool, Prima Flowers, brad-Stampin Up Pretties Kit, pop dots.

Thanks for viewing,
Beverly G

I don't think you're out of fashion at all...I don't generally make Shabby Chic or Vintage either, but there are certainly lots of peeople out there who do! I think this is a lovely card. Thanks for playing along at The Color Dare this week.

I LOVE the shabby chic look! It adds texture and gives it that feeling of being an old but much loved object. I think it's lovely :)
