Vintage Christmas

There's a little story behind this card.
I have missed the sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop for the last few weeks and wanted to use their sketch after I found this handsome Vintage Santa image in my Print Master 11 software, but then discovered after I finished the card that I didn't do the spin on the sketch challenge. Then, realized there is no stamping on this card, but the stripe paper is hand stripped by me because in allllll the paper I have, I didn't have any I thought that would go with these colors or theme.
But, after all the dust settled today and I thought I had messed up my blog by trying some new features offered, got that back the way it was so I could post, I like the way this card turned out even if there is no stamping. Whew! I'm sure we've all had days like that.
3 Challenges:
Supplies: Ivory Card Blank 5" X 6 1/2" Halcraft, Papers: The Paper Studio, Stampin Up, Marvy Brush Markers-crimson lake, olive green, CTMH marker-parchment, Stampin Up marker-soft suede, Marvy gold gel pen, Gold Metallic Rub-On-Craf-T Products, Making Memories-holly brads and leaves, Offray-gold ribbon, image from PrintMaster 11, pop dots.

Thanks for viewing,
Beverly G ♥

It's a fabulous card Beverly and I love the image you used. I've just done this sketch too - lol - I had to cheat and say the image I used was cute and made me go all fuzzy looking at it. Some people will stoop to any lengths to cover their backs when they mess up on a challenge. LOL.
Glad you like the Nellie Snellen dies I've been using. I just love the circle - it's really versatile. I've got the square too but I haven't tried that yet.
Have a great day.

Fantastic card Bev - love that Santa image and all your hand striped paper.
I miss out on challenge deadlines all the time but that's probably 'cos I'm a 'slowpoke' AND I also frequently forget to check back and see who the winners are 'cos I'm a scatter brain LOL.
Thanks for joining is again at Bah! Humbug! - it's always a pleasure to see what you make of our challenges.
