I need to start off with a little clapping today. My Glitter Easter Bunny card got picked in the Top 3 at Stampin' Royalty. They are a fairly new challenge blog brought to us by some really neat gals with lots of talent, hop over and check them out if you haven't already.
The other neat thing kind of ties into the Don't Quit challenge at 52-Card Pickup . I've been crafting in one way or another the majority of my life and must be naturally born to it because I love all things art. The don't quit part comes in where after trying several businesses in crafting and ceramics and none turning out to be roaring successes here I am still plugging along in my little studio and low and behold at 60 yrs. old 2 of my cards have been published in 2 separate magazines just since January. That's not all of the neatness because today I went over to a new to me scrapbook store not far from me and as I was checking out names came up and one of the girls behind the counter recognized my name because she is one of my very first followers. How cool is that? I never dreamed I would meet anyone that followed my blog. It is as they say,"A small world'. I felt kind of like a celebrity.
So, with the new stamp I bought  at Scrapper's Boutique today, I say, keep pursuing what you love, don't quit, and Start each day with "Whee"!
I also bought some Neenah paper and yes it does make a difference when using Copics and ProMarkers. I have a couple of Copic flesh colors and a few ProMarkers and then I have some Bic Markit pens. I read on some blogs that you could mimic the Copics with the Markit pens because they are alcohol based also. I wanted to kind of play around on the cheap before making a big investment in Copics. I still need to practice on the flesh, but all in all I think this turned out pretty good with my mix of pens. I especially like my very own hand drawn tree. I love the little heart in her hair, I will probably collect the whole series of these stamps just because she reminds me of happy days gone by.
3 Challenges:
Supplies: White Card Blank 4" X 5 1/2" The Paper Studio, Papers: Neenah, Stampin Up, DCWV Mat Stack, Stamp: MFT Stamps-Pure Innocence, Ink: CTMH-4475-1 Archival Black, Z2153 Sweet Leaf, Copic, ProMarker, Bic Markit pens, Fiskars-Scallop Sentiment border punch, blue chalk and cotton ball for sky.

Thanks for viewing,
Beverly G ♥

What an adorable card, and what a great inspiration your story is! I don't believe in coincidence, but I'm a firm believer in serendipity/synchronicity, and I think you're comments here reinforce that belief. Thanks for joining my challenge again this week!

What a fabulously happy card and I love the tree! The saying is fantastic too--I'm gonna swipe it for a sign to put on my desk at work because it cannot help but make you smile LOL!

How cool to meet a "fan" in person; I just know you were going, "Whee!"
