Peace On Earth

My first official challenge card of 2011. Yes, that's right it's for Bah! Humbug! Challenge 1. I was very happy to see the ladies at Bah! Humbug! were willing to under take the big challenge of running this fabulous blog again this year. What an inspiration this was for me, a grand procrastinator. I was very pleasantly surprised when I sat down to send out Christmas cards, not only did I have enough, but I had extras.  Everybody got something unique and different, not  just a couple of boxes of cookie cutter store boughts.
Hop over to Bah! Humbug! and sign up for the loyalty challenge of 2011 and you too can have extra time to spend on cooking, cleaning, and present wrapping at the beginning of the holidays instead of worrying about whipping up those last minute Christmas cards.

YAY Bev. Welcome back to our Bah! Humbug Challenges. So pleased you decided to join us again this year. Like you I couldn't believe how much of a joy it was to pick'n'choose from a lovely collection of handcrafted Christmas cards for special friends and loved ones. Never again will I be that headless chicken of "Christmas Past" LOL!
You have got yourself off to a fabulous start with this gorgeous card. The red really makes an impact against the beautiful papers. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug! and good luck in the prize draw.

Good for you! Not only did I not have any hand made cards to send, I never sat down to write any Christmas cards - grrr. My food pantry job is lights-out busy from before Thanksgiving until after the first of the year - 3 years in a row now that I have barely noticed that Christmas came and went - oh, retirement - can't wait! So good for you for working ahead and being able to have things ready and enjoy the season. This card is lovely - that SU paper is so beautiful!

Beverly, I woke up after a SHORT night's sleep to 4 of the sweetest comments on my TSTR post--yours being one of them. I wanted to come say "hello" and to thank you for visiting--I do appreciate it. This first card of yours is lovely! I LOVE the images AND the colors! (I'm so NOT ready to put Christmas away--yes, I still have some up!) Your New Year's greeting still has some Christmas charm to it and I love it!!
