Stencil Splash Xmas

This card is for my 2 favorite Christmas Card Challenges. One is to use stencils and the other is to use acrylic paints. There's some snowflake messy stenciling, and some acrylic paint dabber pouncing and dragging. I told one of my friends not to long ago to loosen up, so I decided to take my own advice. You can't get much looser on a card than this. Definitely not a card for everyone, but it kind of grew on me as I put it together.
Supplies: Green card blank 4" X 5 1/2", Papers: textured white card stock unknown, Stamps: Stampin Up-Big On Christmas, Plastic Snowflake stencil unknown, Ink: Ranger Archival Ink-Jet Black, Adirondack Paint Dabbers-Red Pepper, Lettuce, Aqua, Stampin Up markers-Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Sharpie Poster Paint Pen-Silver, Recollections-red pearl stickers, The Paper Studio-Glitter Foam Snowflakes, American Crafts-ribbon, gold star sticker unknown.

Thanks for viewing,
Beverly G ♥

Hi Beverly - think I could do with being told that 'loosen up' - find it hard to do messy crafting and I really should as it's fun and the results can be stunning. Really enjoyed looking at your creation. That tree looks brill on the swoosed background.

cool way to combine the two challenges and definitely a different take on a Christmas card--your versatility just continues to amaze me ;-)

oh wow, oh wow, OH WOW!!!

ok, when you say this card is "not for everyone" i think you could use it as a sort of test...because the ppl with EYES and a bit of art appreciation will ♥LOVE IT♥!!!

i, for one, think everything about this is FABULOUS and cool; especially the "looseness" of trying more than one paint technique and just sort of "rolling with" the card as it evolved! big points for a ♥LOVELY♥ finished product...even bigger ones for the fact that you "used, practiced AND created"...with said paints!!!!! ♥
