Peppermint CD

I'm sure you can guess what this started out life as. You are correct, a CD, you know back in the olden days when you would get a trial CD in the mail about once a week. My husband, the pack rat/hoarder, recycler, I won't go on because now with all these altered art challenges grabbing my attention I'm joining in the 'Oh I might need that group.'
This is for  Challenge 7-Use A CD/DVD !!
at Bah! Humbug!

I was able to use this Sizzix Candy Cane die that I've had since I started all this card making. I also pulled out my Stampin Up Sweet Treat Cups that I bought last year. The hole in the center just begged for some candy to come out the back of this ornament.  This just might get gifted to my Grandson to give to his Teacher for a Christmas gift. As you can see, I'm still on the punched circles for scallops around the edges.

Ooops, I just realized the only stamping on this is the stamped scallop circle on the back. Once, you get going with pretty papers and dies, you sometimes forget to pull out some stamps, or I do because at one time in my life I crafted without stamps only scissors, tracing paper, crayons--oh that's enough about the olden days.

Supplies:   CD, Papers: Stampin Up- Real Red, Whisper White, DCWV The Christmas Stack, DCWV Glittered The Christmas Mat Stack, Stamp: Fiskars-Winter Wonderland, Ink: Stampin Up-Riding Hood Red, Black Sharpie Fine Point Pen, Sharpie Poster Paint Pen-Red, Stampin Up-Sweet Treat Cups, Sizzix-Candy Cane & Bow die, Spellbinders Nestabilities-Classic Scallop Circle Lg., Nellie Snellen-plain circle from MFD 011, Stampin Up-1 3/4" & 1" circle punches, ribbon-American Crafts, Crop-A-Dile, glue dots.

Thanks for viewing,
Beverly G ♥
