First, I must say this is for the challenge at Bah! Humbug! Challenge 6...Doilies
So, I obviously got out a doily, I only have heart ones, go figure. I knew I wanted a seam binding bow. I learned this technique from The Funkie Junkie . After I chose my papers and stamp set, I got busy scrunching, and spritzing. The doily I mushed on 3 distress ink pads(you'll find the colors in the supply list), then I mixed some Old Olive re-inker in a mini mister and dyed the seam binding, scrunched, and heat dried.
Then it was a matter of stamping, die cutting, and you know what, I just can't leave those edges undone. There's that Sharpie gold paint pen and I just couldn't leave those last 2 corners blank, so I put some gold dots there to finish things off. Well, I better tell you the holly stamp in the top left corner I colored with markers, huffed, stamped, cut out, edged, and hit the berries and the leaves with a gold jelly roll pen. Oh yeah, the heart doily and bow I hit with a couple of spritzes of Smooch Spritz Gold Glow.
Hope you'll be able to see all the sparkly goodness in the photo.
