Christmas Roses & Cookies

I'm starting this Tuesday afternoon with a bold project for:
When I tore the red cellophane off my Valentine candy box, I thought to myself--hmm-I bet I can do something with this. People have been making flowers out of all kinds of ribbons, papers, coffee filters, so today you have roses made out of red cello. The large rose has a circle base, then I cut a long strip of cello and glue dots and began to twirl and twist and stick. The bud is just tightly twirled with glue dots.
This is all attached to one of my empty cookie tins from my favorite butter cookies.
Sometimes when I'm using pretty papers and trims I forget to stamp something, but I had this cool tag with the perfect words.
Supplies: Cookie Tin, Red Cello, Papers: The Paper Studio-Season's Greetings, Stamp: CTMH-D1177 No Peeking, Ink: Stampin Up-Always Artichoke, VersaMark, CTMH gold embossing powder, Michael's-ribbons and trim, glue dots.

Thanks for visiting and viewing,
Beverly G ♥

what a wonderful way to recycle simple things into absolutely fabulous ones! Even empty, this would make an awesome gift!

just fantastic!

I have a stack of tins that are just waiting to be treated as royally as you've treated this one! What a super idea. I am head over heals with your cellophane flower. Wonderfully done!
