Love Bites

Gingersnap Creations     GC 103: Random Redhead Challenge-Scene Stamping
It's amazing what you can create and how quickly ideas come together when you don't have people and things pulling at you from all different directions. OK, whine over.
This started out to be a card, but as it progressed I think I'm going to frame it. As I put the mountains in I began thinking of a dry TX wind blowing up storms across the desert, and tumble weeds, I don't even know if there are any more of those or not. For all you Country Western fans out there, I bet there is a song this little scene would start you humming.
I probably don't have everything perspectively correct, but works for me.
I used distress inks to do the background with sponges, my fingertips, and to bring up the grasses in the middle I even used my index fingernail. I colored the foreground images with Copic markers, popped up the Love Bites, cause some days it just does.

Thanks for visiting and viewing,

This is great Beverly, especially love the sands whirling around. So pleased you played with us at Gingersnaps. Annette x

Neat pops of red throughout. And you're right - sometimes it does, but not always!

What an adorable scene! I love that even the cactus is heart-shaped. The coloring is beautiful - great job!

This is really nice Beverly.
Enjoy your long weekend what is left. We had a long weekend in Canada last week. Nice to spend time doing things you have time and love to do.
