Order of the Opus Gluei Challenge #104-A Midsummer Nights Dream
Studio L 3 GM10: Distress Ink -O-Rama
You can thank Tim Holtz and his innovative products for turning me into a distress ink sponging maniac.
First I took a piece of glossy paper and dripped distress reinkers and spritzed with water then smashed another piece on top and rubbed them together well, then peeled the two pieces apart. Since I like get on with things, I dried with the heat tool. This gave me a sky effect, but I wanted to add some forest also, so I started sponging with greens. That gave me some glo. I stamped the forest frame and then the little fairy with black permanent ink. I tore the edges with a deckle ruler, then sponged a white card with the same inks to create sky and ground to match the stamped piece. I wanted the sentiment to appear wispy so I stamped it on white mulberry paper and cut it out with one of the new Spellbinder Fancy Tags die and again sponged it with distress ink.
Wishing you a Magical Weekend.
