Try It On Tuesday     Steampunk

Shutting things down this evening I leave you with an altered 6 X 6 canvas in a Steampunk theme.
I finally got to use my Cuttlebug die that cuts puzzle pieces. I glued some BoBunny paper and a free Google image to Grungeboard and ran it through, Viola, a puzzle, then I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I used my new Grommet Tags die, with some Kraft Glassine paper. The alphabet and numbers are still off one stamping of Tim's lg. alphabet stamp, also some of his gears, and some that I got at the Rubber Stamp show Sat. Of course, you recognize a couple of Tim's masks on the canvas sprayed with the sprays I made with Perfect Pearls and Distress Re-Inkers. I created the sentiment on the tag on the computer with an Edwardian Script font, very Steampunk, you know. Then it's just a matter of placement and gluing  and some people actually wait for all the glue to dry before they take the photo, but a little of my glue is still showing.
Don't forget to check out Mr. Holtz's web site for this and all his amazing techniques and over at Try It On Tuesday The Craft Barn is sponsoring again and they've got lots of neat supplies to accomplish some of those techniques.
The shower and my bed are calling my name very loudly tonight, so I bid you a good night.

Thanks for visiting and viewing,
Beverly G ♥

Beverly, this is steampunk perfection! I love the imagery you chose, and the gears and watch bits look great. How clever to use a puzzle cut for the central images! Great way to incorporate Grungeboard into your wonderful project!
