Texas Twist

Lily Pad Cards     July Themed Challenge-Patriotic Theme with a Twist

Even though it was somewhat of a Texas twister around the house today I did manage to get this one card made and I've started working on another project that will be posted Tuesday, be sure to check back.
This is the first time I've entered at Lily Pad Cards. They have a very handsome mascot, Frederick Du Ponde. They're all at CHA right now checking out all the brand new products for us to owh and ahh  over.
I'm showing some big Texas spirit here with the horseshoe turned up to hold all our luck. Both our families, one from Germany and the other from Tennessee, have been in Texas since the early 1800's, so we have a long Texas tradition going on here.
If you're not familiar with Lily Pad Cards hop over and check them out. They have a variety of challenges going on during the month, so it never gets boring over there.

Supplies: White Card Blank 4" x 5 1/2" Halcraft, Papers: all from scrap box, Stamps: Stampabilities, CTMH, Deadbeat Designs, Texana Designs, Ink: SU-Night of Navy, Riding Hood Red, star brad unknown, SU dimensionals.

Thanks for visiting and viewing,
Beverly G ♥
