A Little Flourish

Less Is More     Week 71-One Layer-Use A Flourish

I have enjoyed playing at Less Is More. One of the reasons is that it challenges me to use some of my stamps that I have not used in a long time or never inked up.

With this week's challenge being one layer and a flourish I was able to showcase this stamp from Stampin' Up. It had the flourish and sentiment all together. I inked it up with Distress Markers,Peeled Paint, Fired Brick, Worn Lipstick, and stamped. It seemed like it was floating to much so I cut the edge with one of the Adorning Accents Edgelit, then used the same Peeled Paint marker and edged the cut edge and that seemed to ground everything just right for me.

Even though this is a retired stamp set you can still stretch your imagination and go through your stash to use some of your stamps you may not have used in a long either.
