Surely You Jest Tag

Art With No Boundaries     Anything Goes & Just Clowning Around Part 1

It's hard to believe we are entering the second half of July and that's no clowning around. Oops, that was probably a bad pun. However, today we begin our next fortnightly challenge at Art With No Boundaries. As usual you can create any art project you would like or you can create something that goes along with the theme Just Clowning Around and be entered in the drawing for this digi image:

This week I've created a tag with a couple of the hexagon shapes from Chris's Spirelli digital kit. She's got all kinds of shapes in this kit. You can size them to your preference and cut them out and like I did, wind them with blending filament or click on the link above and see what the other Design Team members used to wind around theirs. Some very clever creations.
I also used the Square Harlequin 2 as the focal image on my tag colored with glitter pens. I printed the sentiment on brushed silver card stock and popped both of these up on dimensionals on top of a black tag which I lightly embossed and bordered with a gold paint pen and added the torn embossed green metallic paper. For the finishing touch I added the metallic fibers to the top of the tag.
I know some people have a love hate relationship with clowns, but there are so many different kinds of clowns I bet you could find one you love and create something fun.
I look forward to seeing your creations in the next couple of weeks.

Happy Creating--

This tag has such great contrast between the dark colours and the sparkly thread, fibres, and image. Great texture, too. Perfect sentiment for this cool image.

Love all the fibers on your tag! The metallic thread you used for your spirelli is so pretty. Totally enjoyed the title " Surely You Jest!"
