Be Scary Birthday

Art With No Boundaries     October and Halloween

First day of October and Fall is in the air and you all know what that means. Yep, Halloween--
Our mandate this month at Art With No Boundaries is to create projects of all kinds with all things Halloween. You know, pumpkins, ghosts, ghoulies, black cats, spiders, and bats are just a few. Cards, 3D projects, scrapbook pages--that's why we're called Art With No Boundaries.
Come over and join in the fun.
I've got a few friends who have Halloween birthdays so I created a card this time around.
I've used CS Designs Small Spider Background on a black card for my beginning base. I used my postage stamp scissors and postage stamp punch to pull all the elements together and colored the Haunting Apparition Psychosis in and Andy Warhol effect. I printed, colored with Copic markers, and punched the tag, added some creepy fibers and for the finishing touch in the top right corner a spider sticker with a red heart jewel on her back.
I love Fall and Halloween. We didn't go Trick or Treating when I was a kid we went to costume parties or had carnivals at school. My sister and I always dressed as gypsies. My Mom had lots of cool gold and pearl necklaces and scarves for us to use.
The Team has another great diversity of projects for your inspiration so be sure to click over and check it all out.
I look forward to seeing what Halloween goodies you have for us this time around.

Happy Creating--
Beverly G ♥

This is a great Halloween birthday card. Love the images done in the Warhol style and the postage borders add to the scariness. I think it's the jagged edges. Great spider with the jewel heart and your sentiment is fun.

Beverly, I love the retro Warhol effect and all those colors are so well suited to Psychosis, especially the green. It makes her look exceptionally wicked and ready for Halloween. That spider sticker also adds alot to your card, rather creepy but also beautiful at the same time. I am sure whichever friend receives this card is absolutely going to love it.

Hi Beverly - I was just having a look on the challenges and came across your card on the Art with No Boundaries site. I hope you don't mind me stopping by but I really felt I wanted to comment on this brilliant piece of work. I love the colours you have used and the image is great. I remember these colours the first time around - ooops. I also 'quite' like the eight legged beastie sticker - although I am phobic about them.

Big hugs to you Sue Pxxx
