Wow, it's been almost 2 months to the day since I have posted.
So much has been going on. My Mom spent 3 days in the hospital. That doesn't sound like much but she had some new things wrong so there were lots of tests and new routines to get started and make happen when we got home. I've had horrible allergies, my husband got his flu shot and I came down with a light that goodness light case of the flu. They say you can't get the flu from getting the flu shot so go figure how I got the flu when I haven't been anywhere but here at home. Just thanking God my Mom didn't come down with it also, of course, she had already got her flu shot.
I'm always dragging along behind.
My Mom will be 88 Sunday the 24th. Not ticking as strong as she was but still ticking.
We'll have a small gathering for Thanksgiving and our youngest grandson is going to come spend that weekend with us. Then it will be my birthday--I'll be 64, still climbing the hill.
I haven't been arting much, but I did make a Toilet Roll Mini Album, a Mini Album using Laura Dennison's Stack the Deck Basic Binding Method, and from my stash I found a packaged My Mind's Eye Acrylic and chipboard mini album, so I whipped it into a Halloween Mini.
I've taken pictures of the fronts which you'll see below. Also, with the encouragement from my husband and a very good friend I decided to try my hand at making some YouTube Videos so that my posts wouldn't be so long with just pictures and you could see how all the flips, pull outs, tags, and various embellies work. If you'd like to see the insides just go to YouTube, type in Beverly Gotthardt and it should bring up my videos. There are 2 so far, and yes, they need practice, but I promise I will get better at it as time goes by, and with an $18.00 camera just to practice with maybe they are not too bad.
Hope Everyone has Happy Holidays with Family and Friends.
