The Bright Owl Zendala Dare #107

The Bright Owl    Zendala Dare #107

Erin created a very organic template this week. If I do say so myself the first tile is one of my most favorites that I have done to date. I started in the middle with Leaf, moved on to Linksy, and finally Semonlina. A little bit of shading and the 3.5" X 3.5" tile was done.
The second round Zendala, hmmm, not so sure. I started on the outer edge with the zig zag pattern because I like to go around the edges with a Sharpie pen to get a bit of a frame, my hand slipped so I took that slip and turned it into the zig zags. I moved on to the template and started making lines. Some of these may be patterns I'm not sure. This is just what flowed out of the pen.
Still time to get into the challenge. Click on the link above and give this template a try then check out what the other entrants have done and leave them some love and encouragement at their blogs. We all like a bit of clapping once in awhile.

Happy Creating--

They're both very pretty, but I particularly like the second one. It's simple, but quite lovely.

Both are so very beautiful, I cannot pick a favorite, because they are so different.

Lovely zendalas! Each of them has its own impression, and I like them both!

Great to see two very different Zendala's! I love the first for the boldness, and second for it's lightness and simplicity! Can't pick a fav though because they are both wonderful!

Nice to see how you came up with two distinctly different looks. Both are lovely.

Both tiles are lovely! The first one reminds me to modern art while the second one is more simple and elegant. Very nice works!

I love what you did with both of these Zendalas. Very different but both so pretty. I am a CZT and am doing a class on Zendalas in September using this template of Erin's. Would it be okay with you if I show the class your 2 Zendalas, with credit to you of course? Thanks.

I, too, like both of your zendalas. The first has sort of an Op Art feel to it that's unusual and fun and the second is more organic and airy. Great job on both!
