The Paper Players Challenge-PP260

The Paper Players    PP260-Tic Tac Toe Challenge

A Post Script at the Top: Mr. Linky is having a problem at The Paper Players so I'll have to check back to enter.

The Paper Players are having a Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week. That means that you pick 3 items from the vertical rows, the horizontal rows, or diagonal row.
I have chosen the middle vertical row. I have used dry embossing as well as heat embossing and popped the sentiment up on 2 circles.
I like this color Mint Macaron. It's very soft. I've used a variety of products to make this card so I will leave a Supply list at the end of this post. I like the combination of rounded corners with the points on the circles and the points on the stars.
The challenge just started yesterday so click on over to The Paper Players and play Tic Tac Toe.
Supplies: Stampin' Up supplies first:  4 1/4" X 5 1/2" Mint Macaron card stock base, Whisper White card stock, Lucky Stars Textured Impressions embossing folder, Starburst Framelits dies, Mint Macaron ink, Smokey Slate ink, Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set, Iridescent Ice embossing powder.
No Name Corner punch, Versamark ink, Studio G $1.00 stamp, Simon Says Stamp sets, Birthday Messages, Birthday Balloons, Gelly Roll Clear Rainbow pen, Spica Glitter pen-orange, foam tape, Scor-Pal Tape.
That's it for this evening--

Every Inchie Monday-Necklace

Every Inchie Monday    Necklace

My drawing skills are really being tested at Every Inchie Monday. This Inchie is my artistic attempt at drawing my favorite necklace that I wear most of the time. It is oval cut dark  blue sapphires, tiny diamonds set in gold with a kind of rope chain. As I was trying to erase some of the pencil lines I discovered my pencil eraser was dirty. I decided to go with the flow and shaded with it. I used an 01 Micron black pen, a gold gel pen, a white gel pen, and a blue Spica pen. The Spica pens have a subtle sparkle to them. Oops, can't leave out the pencil with the dirty eraser.
That's my entry for Every Inchie Monday. If you haven't tried inchies click over and see what the other entrants have done. It's very interesting what you can get on a one inch square.

Live Love Cards August Challenge-Holiday

Live Love Cards     August Challenge--Holiday

Before I talk about my first holiday card for this year I'd like to tell you a little bit about Live Love Cards. I've been an admirer of Darlene DeVries for quite some time so when she came up with the idea to start a site that was all about cards and filled with lots of videos and monthly challenges for $2.50 a month or $27.00 a year I jumped right on that and haven't regretted it yet.
I'm nowhere near Darlene's talent, but she's like me in one respect, she uses a lot of different products + Stampin' Up products. You get to partake of lots of different tutorials.
If you love card making, tutorials, and a nice community of artists give the link above a click and take a tour.
Now, on to this card. For some reason I was fixated on using this Stampin' Up stamp set-Santa's Gifts. It's been on my creative area most of this month. Looking, looking, thinking, thinking, hmmm.
Finally today, a little light bulb moment. Inlaid die cutting. These are all Stampin' Up products so the rest of the post I will just use their name. I know you get it.
A Real Red card stock base 4 1/4" X 5 1/2", background paper from Trim the Tree paper stack cut just a bit smaller for a nice border. I ran the second from the outside Framelits Labels Collection die through the Big Shot, 1st the background paper then some Whisper White card stock. I stamped my little scene with Black Momento Ink (Stampin' Up sells that now) and colored it with (sad face) the discontinued alcohol markers. Oops, there is a touch of sparkle with a Wink of Stella pen and on Rudolf's nose a Clear Stardust Gell Roll Pen and another Oops, Marvy White Liquid Applique for the fur on Santa's suit. It's amazing when you start breaking down a card the things you've reached for without realizing they weren't Stampin' Up. Well, on with the show, Tombow glue, and I don't know how old Mica Flakes from Stampin' Up. Inserted the scene into the cut out on the background paper, added the Basic Rhinestones colored with alcohol marker. Whew, hard to believe it took me so long to come up with this idea because I think it came out really cute.
I'm dragging up the rear again on a challenge, but if you don't get in on the August Challenge and decide to join Live Love Cards Darlene has already given the hint for September--Sparkle and Shine.
That might give you a bit of a head start.
I've been a bit of a Chatty Cathy this evening, so signing off to go enter the challenge and close up the studio for this evening.

Tackle It Tuesday #68-J

Artful Creations     Tackle It Tuesday #68-J

Cheryl is up to the letter J using tangles that start with the letter J. While I was looking over the tangles that start with the letter J at Tangle Patterns this one seemed to keep getting my attention. I think what I liked about it is that it can be in a grid or it can jump off the grid. It looks like little spinners to me off the grid. So essentially this tile turned into a monotangle using just JaJazz.
A Happy tile to start a Happy weekend.

Wicked Wednesday ATC #173

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog    #173-Back To School

I have been wanting to use this retired Stampin' Up stamp set since I got it at a very good sale price. The name of the set is It's Academic. To my excitement the challenge at Wicked Wednesday ATC this week is back to school.
Today is the end of our first week of 4th Grade here at our house. My Grandson has had a great start. I hope all you other households who have started whatever grade level you're at have had a great start also or have a great start when you begin this new school year.
I used Night of Navy card stock for the base, Ranger Archival Black Ink on Whisper White card stock, Stampin' UP Real Red Ink for the A+, Stampin' Up Alcohol markers to color the books and pencil, and a Black Sharpie to hand letter the Welcome Back to School.
There are 8 stamps in this set altogether, so many more projects that can be made with these.
Hope you will click on the link above and join in on this great challenge. ATC's are always a good quick project just to get some art on some paper in a short amount of time when everything else is pulling at you.

The Bright Owl Zendala Dare #107

The Bright Owl    Zendala Dare #107

Erin created a very organic template this week. If I do say so myself the first tile is one of my most favorites that I have done to date. I started in the middle with Leaf, moved on to Linksy, and finally Semonlina. A little bit of shading and the 3.5" X 3.5" tile was done.
The second round Zendala, hmmm, not so sure. I started on the outer edge with the zig zag pattern because I like to go around the edges with a Sharpie pen to get a bit of a frame, my hand slipped so I took that slip and turned it into the zig zags. I moved on to the template and started making lines. Some of these may be patterns I'm not sure. This is just what flowed out of the pen.
Still time to get into the challenge. Click on the link above and give this template a try then check out what the other entrants have done and leave them some love and encouragement at their blogs. We all like a bit of clapping once in awhile.

i am the diva, czt #232

i am the diva, CZT   Weekly Challenge #232-Duo Challenge: Audio vs. Betweed        Guest Blogger-Holly Atwater,CZT

This week was a very interesting challenge. The Guest Blogger Holly Atwater, CZT makes audio Zentangle challenges. I wasn't familiar with this, but I found it a very interesting concept.
These tiles were done on what in Zentangle are Bijou tiles (2" X 2"). Before you start this challenge there is one little rule that you have to follow, there is no peeking at the other entrant's tiles because part of the exercise if to clear your mind and concentrate on your art and relaxing.  The first 3 tiles counting from left to right, the same on row 2 are the Audio tiles, Audio 1, Audio 2, Audio 3. The concept is you have no idea what tangle you are going to do. You have your supplies in front of you in a quiet place (good luck with that one at my house, LOL), turn the audio on and be prepared to relax as you draw.
I have to say at this point Holly has the perfect voice for this. My husband was sitting over from me on his computer and when he got through talking over what I was listening to he remarked, "that lady's voice would put me to sleep. Is that a relaxation tape?" At which point, still ignoring him, Holly was just getting into the first pen marks. She tells you what to draw and how to draw it, you can   pause if you need to catch up with where she is leading you and at the end of the audio she tells you to sign your tile and what tangle you have drawn. Audio 1 is Tripoli, Audio 2 is Nipa, Audio 3 is Meer.
If you've never tried Audio tangling I would recommend clicking on this link to Holly's blog and give it a try. Very Relaxing! (if you can find a quiet place or like me you learn to tune out the people, cats, dogs, or whoever else you live for just a few minutes).

Onto the 4th tile in the series--another Bijou tile (2" X 2") done on your own using the tangle Betweed. I first drew a string then filled in to achieve this monotangle tile.
After you have completed one or more parts of this challenge then you are free to enter with the Mr. Linky, comment, and then browse around at the other entrant's results. Amazing how different each person's tangling is.
Time for school pick up.

Crazy 4 Challenges--C4C300

Crazy 4 Challenges    C4C300--Ride the Wind Day

This is all one stamp set Stampin' Up Send Me Soaring. I've loved this set sent it first came out back in 2012 and have used it quite a bit. Very apt for this weeks challenge Ride the Wind Day, the 300th challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges. That's quite and accomplishment, Well Done!!!!
I was also fun using the Stampin' Up Washi Tape punch to sit the sentiment on.It punches longer, but you can punch it then stick the paper back in and punch it shorter. There's a lot of punches you can make more versatile than just punching the picture on the punch.
This challenge started Saturday, I think there is still time to enter. I always give you a clickable link under whatever project I'm showcasing. Click over and give your windy stamps a whirl.

Every Inchie Monday-Pavillion

Well, this truly was a challenge. From the moment I read that the next challenge was going to be Pavilion I started hearing a band playing "In the Good Ol' Summertime".
I had to dig for a lamp stamp, so I sure don't have any Pavilion stamps. That leaves me with my less than stellar drawing skills.
I punched the 1" square out of some of the watercolor paper that I had practiced with Clean Color Brush markers. This square was punched from the blue and green area of the background. An 01 Mircron pen and some PrismaColor pencils and about 30 minutes of puttsing around this is the Inchie I was left with. I didn't have my magnifying glasses on or even my readers, just plain old eyes. Believe you me the printing looked a lot better to me before I ran this Inchie through PicMonkey. So when you read the words squint a little and they won't look so messy.
Try to picture in your mind a much slower pace of life where people actually took the time to stroll to the town square and sit on some canvas lawn chairs or even on an old quilt in the evening to hear the town band play some tunes and maybe even hum along.
I'm sure the other entrants have come up with some cleaver Inchies, be sure to click on the link above and see what can be fitted on a 1" square.

Just Add Ink #276 Cards for a Male

Just Add Ink Challenge Blog    #276 Cards for Males

Not sure whether I've played here in the past. But, just so you know it looks like a fun challenge blog, so I've added it to my list.
This week Just Add Ink is challenging us to make cards for males. Not a problem for me, we have a lot of males in our family. When my sons came onto the planet I broke the trend for my side of the family to have mostly women.
It is so much fun getting  back into my stash and play with products that I ordered but never got to play with.
This card was fun. I pulled out an old Close To My Heart binder full of sketches. Then from there it is Stampin' Up supplies except for the brads which were in an embellishment container that I've had since I started making cards. No clue what company they are from.
Stampin' Up Supplies:  Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack, stamp sets: Guy Greetings, Gorgeous Grunge, Crumb Cake ink, dimensionals.

If you are not familiar with Just Add Ink Challenge Blog or if you are, please use the clickable link above and check out the fun challenges that are going on over there. There's still time to enter this one, believe it or not it just started yesterday and I'm entering on the second day instead of sliding in at the last minute.

SU-Only Challenges   #129-Cards Without Words

I wanted something very different for this challenge. I tried my DSP panel on several colors of card bases, but I ended up choosing a Smoky Slate Card Base 5" X 7".
The Stampin' Up Supplies I used: Polka-Dot Pieces stamp set, Pretty Petals Designer Paper Pack, Crisp Cantalope Designer Series Paper, Cucumber Crush marker, Black marker, Calypso Coral alchol marker, Crisp Cantalope ink, Bird Builder punch, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals,
I think that's all. It's late, so I'm off to enter at the clickable link above.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog #172

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog    WW#172-Stars & Stripes

It's Stars & Stripes at Wicked Wednesday this week. We had a great July 4th and we are very grateful for the freedoms that we have living here in the United States. My Father, oldest Son, and my Husband are all Veterans, one Air Force, one Army, and one Navy.
I tried for a little Sparkle and Shine, because we all love fireworks.
I used Stampin' Up Brushed Gold card stock for the base. A piece of scrap red copy paper because it was the red I wanted and it was handy. That was stamped with Stampin' Up Whisper White ink, embossed with Stampin' Up white embossing powder. The top left corner I stamped with Stampin' Up Illuminate ink and embossed with Stampin' Up Iridescent Ice embossing powder. I did this because I didn't want the star to hang off but I wanted a bit of sparkle behind it. The stars are from Be the Star stamp set, I forgot to say the stripes are from the Work of Art stamp set. The stars are stamped on Midnight Muse Stampin' Up card stock, stamped and embossed with Versamark ink and Iridescent Ice embossing powder. When I heated the embossing powder on this dark card stock it looked multicolored to me. I liked it so here I go over to Wicked Wednesday to enter.

The Bright Owl #106

The Bright Owl     Zendala Dare #106

When I first looked at this template from Erin I thought oh that will be a piece of cake. However, when I got the chance to sit down and actually put pen to paper, my mind went blank. This is the result I came up with after a little more pondering. The tangle Victory and Dew Drop I think, then a lot of line work.
This week has kind of gotten away with me so just the 3 1/2" square for my entry.
Be sure to click on the link above, you'll be amazed at all the different interpretations.

This week has sped by. I look up and today it's Friday. School starts Monday for our household so we'll be back to a more structured way of life.
This is my tile for Challenge #67 at Artful Creations. I used the tangle Ing with a few small variations to create this capital I. A little shading and it pops off the tile (so to speak).
If you're into Zentangle or not click on the link above and join in the challenge or just have a look at the other entrants pieces of art. i am the diva, CZT     Weekly Challenge #231-Guest Blogger-Sharla Hicks, CZT

This week at Laura's Weekly Challenge she another Guest Blogger-Sharla Hicks, CZT. Sharla is challenging us to use "The Undulating Tangles in C and S Minor."
I used some watercolor paper that I dribbled masking fluid over randomly, let that dry, sprayed it with Dylusions sprays, let that dry very dry, then rubbed off the masking fluid. I got this idea from the book Zentangle 9 Color with Mixed Media, by Suzanne McNeill, CZT.
This is my series of 3. I cut up my large piece of paper and loosely matched some of the masking lines then began to tangle what I thought looked like C's and S's. I think mine turned out more like Indyrella.
I have enough paper left to make some bookmarks and a few other small projects. Some may turn up on journal pages.

Every Inchie Monday Lamp

Posting this quickly before we leave for the eye doctor.
It's had to believe that in my hundreds of stamps this was the only set I could put my hands on with a lamp. I know this was only supposed to be a lamp but this inchie kind of reflects my life filled with stuff all needing to be organized in some  modecome of order. I have silent goals no New Years resolutions.
I used Stampin' Up Loads of Love Accessories (I believe Retired) with Ranger Archival Black ink on an inchie punched from one of the watercolor papers that I practiced with Zig Clean Clear Brush Markers added the black rug for them to sit on with a black Sharpie pen and added the black line around the edges to give it a finished look.
I thought it was so cool how many of the entrants used Aladdin's lamp,in all honesty that one never entered my mind.

The Paper Players 258-A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from LeAnne

The Paper Players    PP258-A Clean-and-Simple Challenge from LeAnne

This is a one layer card with just stamping and sponging.
I used a stamp set from Seaside Stampin' Ink-Beach Stories, Stampin' Up Tip Top Taupe and Very Vanilla card stock, Stampin' Up Inks-Soft Sky, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, and Delightful Dijon. I even used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the sentiment straight, hmm, that would be a user error. Even with tools to get my lines straight I still live life at a slant. LOL
The Paper Players is another one of those sites that I used to play at on a regular basis and I'm revisiting them. They've always had fabulous Design Teams and nothing has changed.
Click on the link above and enter, I actually got this entered on the first day of the challenge so there is plenty of time to play.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #171

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog    WW#171-Down The Rabbit Hole

I had to really ponder this one this week. I had the idea of Alice looking down the rabbit hole. I searched all my old digi stamp files, but didn't find the Alice Digis that I thought I had bought just before I had to put my art on hold. I decided to check out digis that are available now, none quite went with the idea I had in my head. Then I searched my Office A and Office B, yep, all kinds of supplies scattered between two rooms. That would make me a craft supply hoarder.
I finally got my thinking cap on, talked to a friend and she inspired me to make use of what I have.
Hence, you see the ATC above. A stamped tree with a hand drawn rabbit hole. Can't you just imagine Alice walking through this meadow and curiously looking down this very inviting hole.
Supplies: Stampin' Up Old Olive, Very Vanilla card stock, Stampin' Up Inks: Baked Brown Sugar, Lucky Limeade, Kiwi Kiss, Wild Wasabi, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sky, Stampin' Up markers: Baked Brown Sugar, Mossy Meadow, Black, Stampin' Up Sheltering Tree Stamp Set.

Crazy 4 Challenges 299

Crazy 4 Challenges    C4C299--Sketch

I got this card made last night, but ran out of time before I could get it posted. So I'm back this afternoon ready to create some more.
This was a challenge site that I used to enter so it was easy for me to find them again.
As you can see I didn't exactly follow the sketch because I didn't get my sentiment element under the oval, then I had to 5 dots and 3 feathers to keep in line with the rule of odd #'s.
I liked the outcome of this card and it will be perfect for my BIL's birthday Jan. 1. Yes, that's right I'm starting on my family and friends birthday list before the day before each persons birthday, and since we are already nearing the end of August it's time to start on Halloween and Christmas cards.
The older I get the faster time flies.
I'll add my supply list and then I'm over to enter the challenge.
Supplies:  Stampin' Up Tip Top Taupe, Very Vanilla card stock, an odd color of cocoa card stock(I think is a retired color of Stampin' Up, but not sure), Ink: Versamark, Tip Top Taupe, Early Expresso, Delightful Dijon, Ranger Distress embossing powders: Scattered Straw, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Stamp Sets: Stampin' Up Perpetual Birthday, Four Feathers, Stampers Anonymous Simple Sayings, Stampin' Up: Ovals Framelits Dies, Feathers Framelits Dies, Stampin' Up: Linen Thread, Basic Pearls, Dimensionals, Gold Metallic Marker, glue dots.

Tackle It Tuesday Challenge #66

Artful Creations    Tackle It Tuesday Challenge #66

Amongst all the other general living that I did today I managed to get the letter H tangled. I'm entering in the Tackle It Tuesday Challenge #66. Last week I tangled the letter G. There are a few of us who are entering at Cheryls' Challenge site, but I hope that a few more of you Zentanglers will click on the link above and enter this Challenge.
I used the tangles: Windows, Stairstep, and Spuigs. I then shaded around the H to make it looked popped up. I think the shading looks pretty good, but not as popped up as I would have liked.
It's going on 11pm so I better get this entered and get myself to bed. Tomorrow is another day.

"It's A String Thing" #105

Tickled To Tangle    "It's A String Thing" #105 by: Barbra Finwall

This week Adele has challenged us to use the String you see above and these 4 tangles: Daviso-Katie Crommett, CZT, Disco,Mina(Ping-Min)Hsiao,CZT, X-ess-Susie Achter and Undu-Daniel Lamothe.
For bad or worse I got all 4 tangles on the tile. I have not used any of these tangles before. I got a little off on Daviso, but got back on track. That's one I'm going to have to study. I really liked Disco and it's steps are not that hard, but I will need some practice putting a nice version of that one together.
Since I do Zentangle for relaxation of stressful general living and for fun, this would come under the heading of not spectacular, but fun.
Be sure to check out the other entrants, you'll be very surprised at how much variety there appears with the same string and the same tangles.

i am the diva, CZT     #230-Guest Blogger Erin Koetz Olson

This week you won't find the Bright Owl's Challenge at home. She's visiting Laura at i am the diva,CZT with a Zendala template for us to print off and start tangling.
My first tile is the 3.5" X 3.5" tile. I have used Web, Swurly, Spynnakas, Paradox, with a few added or detracted pen strokes. You know there are no mistakes in Zentangle. I guess I need to add a disclaimer to my Zentangle posts about poor eye sight, and or shaky hands.LOL
My second tile is the round medium Zendala. I used Web, Spirals(which I don't think is a official tangle, but may be called something else), Kern, and Rain.
I always enjoy Erin's templates for relaxation , practice, and to try new to me tangles.
I think there are already a lot of entrants so I better scurry over and enter myself.

Every Inchie Monday-Wall

As I contemplated the challenge this week I kept coming back to this saying. The next question was, could I fit it on to a 1" square tile?  DaDah-the answer was yes.
I used Clean Color Real Brush Markers to create the background, a black Sharpie to create the look of bricks, and a white gel pen to print the letters. One key word of advice--either let your background dry on it's own or use your heat tool to get it completely dry or the white gel pen will mix with the background and look pink. The letters would have had a much finer appearance if I had not had to trace over them to get them to look more white.
Lesson learned.  Art as anything else you want to excel in life it's practice, practice, practice.

"Tackle It Tuesday" Letter G

Artful Creations    "Tackle It Tuesday" Letter G

Sitting on the couch last evening, relaxing with Hubby and Grandson watching a little TV, I needed a little inspiration for a tangle to get some marks on paper instead of just staring at the TV screen.
I ran across Cheryl's Artful Creations blog which is new to me. She has a once a week challenge plus she participates in some of the other Zentangle challenges I participate in .
This week her "Tackle It Tuesday" is the Letter G making sure we use at least one tangle that starts with G. How could I resist since I use the letter G all the time.
I framed my G with the Golven tangle and made my G into the Gra-Vee tangle. This was my first time to use the Gra-Vee tangle, but I thought it was just right for my G.
If you don't know about Artful Creations and you like a bit of Zentangle click on the link above and check out Cheryl's blog.

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge #170

Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog    Challenge #170-Sunshine & Summer

First off, I have to clap myself a little bit. My first challenge back to Wicked Wednesday and I won. Now that's a mojo booster.
I'm back this week with some Sunshine & Summer. I decided to pull out my August Card Kit from Simon Says Stamps and get some summer feeling going on.
The ATC base is some textured card stock from the kit, the next layer is a piece of watercolor paper that I tested my new Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers using Stampin' Up Watercolor Wash stamp, next layer I used the Flip Flop Season Stamp set from the card kit, with Stampin' Up Daffodil Delight ink, Watermelon Wonder ink, Black Ranger Archival ink. I cut out the flip flop sign then decided to balance that with a small cut out from some of the pattern paper from the kit.
Bada Bing, Bada Bang, an ATC.
Perfect challenge for this week because it's been 107 degrees a couple of days where I live. There is a time in my life where I remember we didn't have central air conditioning, but I Thank the Good Lord for that particular modern convenience, and there are a few more that I would hate to have to get along without.
Don't forget to click on the link above and check out the other Sunny, Summery ATC's.

"It's A String Thing" #104-A Very Happy Second Birthday

Tickled To Tangle    "It's A String Thing" #104 A Very Happy Birthday

Adele is celebrating her sites Second Birthday with the creation of a special string of her own. She has picked tangles that she thought would evoke a birthday feeling. Drupe: Maria Thomas & Rick Roberts, Meringue: Kelley Kelly, CZT, and Prestwood: Margaret Bremmer, CZT.
I used all three tangles with a little bit of variation of my own to continue to evoke the birthday feel. Consequently, I decided to use my sparkly gel pens for this tile. The Drupe just felt like fireworks for this tile to me, so they come in red and silver. A bit of Meringue for the flames in yellow and orange, A little black dashed line to frame it all and bingo--Happy Happy Birthday, Tickled To Tangle.

The Bright Owl Zendala Challenge #105

The Bright Owl    Zendala Challenge #105

The first pic you see above is the template Erin designed and put up as a PDF for us to print out and use. She give us three sizes: a 3.5 zentangle tile size, a medium round zendala, and a large round zendala.
The last couple of challenges my 10 yr. old grandson has wanted the large size. When he gives me permission to post one of his attempts I will.
That leaves me with the small and medium templates which is fine with me. Here are my two attempts for Challenge #105.
I felt like using a Sepia and Dk. Brown Micron pen this week, just for a little change up.
On the zentangle size template I used a variation of pinpoint, Loopy, and Squaremond. I'll just quickly say I'm a self taught zentangler so any tangle I use is usually a little bit of a variation anyway because I usually have to hide mistakes.
The medium zendala I used: Fricassee, Chilgoza variation, Starbarz, and Eiffel.
Be sure to click on the link above to see how the other artists have tangled these templates.

Sandy Hunter CZT is Laura's Guest Blogger for this week's challenge. She has challenged us to use positive or negative space. My hearts are supposed to be the negative space and this will be my entry in the challenge. However, after I tangled this and was taking the picture it reminded me of last week's challenge that I had such a hard time with. It was all about anything organic or nature. LOL
Looks like a bit of nature going on here. I can identify Gothic and Henna Drum tangles.
Already going on 11pm here and I've got to make it to lunch bunch with my husband's family tomorrow, so I better hit the hay so I can sparkle.

Every Inchie Monday-Window

Looking out the window at a cool summer rain shower.
Because I'm slightly out of focus again, probably because I'm posting on the fly tonight.
In real life I can see the rain drops falling from the sky. I promise to improve on my photography skills. I got some good advice and thought I had implemented it tonight, but no, unfortunately I'm not the do over girl.
So much for my lamenting.
This was actually all free hand drawn with Stampin' Up markers.
Don't forget to join in. If I can get an Inchie accomplished so can you.
