i am the diva Weekly Challenge #249

i am the diva, CZT     Weekly Challenge #249:"Duo Tangle:Celebrate 5 yrs. with Aura Knot and Diva Dance

I practiced several times and watched Maria and Rick's video. They make it look so easy. As usual there are a few boo boos, just don't look to close. I don't know if Aura Knot will be one of my favorites, but I will keep trying.
Diva Dance is pretty easy, I used the Fox Trot version: line, line, line, weight.
Some shading and batta bing time to Celebrate!
Congrats to Laura on hosting her challenge for 5 years. She is truly a woman to be admired.

Every Inchie Monday Galaxy

Every Inchie Monday    Galaxy

The start of January 2016 and it looks like we're entering into worlds unknown. This is one of my last pieces of Color Burst powders. I had an Inchie Inkadinkado stamp that looked like a galaxy to me. I stamped it with Stampin' Up Smoky Slate ink because I didn't want to cover up the swirling effect. It seemed like it needed something so I added some dots and swirls with a Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Up marker.

Every Inchie Monday Next

I'm posting the last prompt from 2015 NEXT. Going into 2016 has not made me move at any faster of a pace. Still fitting things in around general living.
I've mentioned a couple of times already that my Words for 2016 are Onwards and Upwards. I know those are probably not spelled correctly but they are my words and I'm sticking with them.
Through all the general living, clubs, horse lessons, science experiments, I will be squeezing in art.
I've got a lot of supplies and I'm planning on using A LOT of them this year. So I say.
I haven't looked at the first prompt for 2016 yet or don't remember it if I did, but I'm looking forward to delving into the list.
Church tomorrow, school Tuesday, so on and so forth.

Facebook Group Purely Zentangle Umble

Facebook Group Square One: Purely Zentangle     Umble

These would be Umble and Variations.
I started the first one in the top left hand corner because I had gotten some black marks on the tile somehow. I also wanted to try a variation of Umble so as not to copy any of the other artists who have posted. I actually practiced Umble in my new 2016 Tangle A Day calendar. Now 2 more tiles done and still don't feel like I've gotten a good handle on the tangle.
However, my Words for 2016 are Onwards and Upwards so I'm posting these and moving on.
